To train medical laboratory professionals on the technical execution of venipuncture and immediate post-collection procedures that ensure specimen integrity and patient safety.
Key Objectives
- Select appropriate venipuncture sites and apply tourniquets effectively.
- Perform venipuncture with correct technique, including vein anchoring and site cleaning.
- Follow the correct order of draw and ensure proper tube filling and mixing.
- Safely remove the needle, apply pressure, and manage patient communication post-procedure
